OPEN DAG 2013

Today Short Cut Choppers, based in Ede- The Netherlands, had their Open House Day.
Many customers showed up and the crowd had more then enough to see. Special Paint demonstrations, a Pinstriper at work, and special guest, custom bike builder Ricky de Haas from Germany showed their talents during the Open Day at Short Cut Choppers. Free drinks and free food during the day and the beautiful weather made everybody happy.

Yes, we survived the biggest and best; Sturgis Bike Week 2013!

With our team we tried to capture the Sturgis Bike Rally 2013:
the People, the Bikes, the Shows, the Music, the Racing, the Scenery and the the Lifestyle.

We went to see Drag Racing where we smelled and tasted burning rubber and nitro fumes, we were biting the dust ‘It’s lonely at the Top’ at Hill Climbing Races,

heard and saw many Live Concerts at the Buffalo Chip,

watched several Custom Bike Shows, Bagger Shows and we participated in the Legends Ride and we joined the Biker Belles

We rode the newest Indian Classic Chief and Indian Chieftain, we tested one of the new Time Out Trailers, ‘The Dart’ behind our Bike and saw numerous friends.

We covered Michael Lichter’s ‘Motorcycles as Art’ Exposition at the Buffalo Chip, went to see various Bagger Bike Shows and of course the J&P Ultimate Builders Custom Bike Show.

We toured around scenic Sturgis to see The Badlands, rode to famous places such as Deadwood, Hill City, Lead and more. We visited Black Hills Harley-Davidson, we met celebreties like Arlen Ness and his son Cory and grandson Zach Ness, Teutel Sr., Willie G. Davidson, Pat and Cris Simmons, Donnie Smith, The Hamsters, and many, many more.

I had the pleasure and privilege to meet my friend Ralph ‘Sonny’ Barger, who did the honour of signing my bike at the Hell’s Angels MC Clubhouse. We ended this USA Road Trip in Anamosa, at John Parham’s beautiful National Motorcycle Museum. We rode thousends of miles on scenic byways and highways, enjoyed the beautiful weather and made thousends and thousends of pictures. Out of these thousends of Sturgis photo’s we made a selection that is NOW online on our website. And there’s more to follow soon.
