In Holland we not only celebrate Witsunday, the Monday after is also a holyday, called ‘Tweede Pinksterdag’ Since many years, in fact it’s the eighths year, in Apeldoorn one of the best and biggest Harley gatherings: Harley & European Bike Festival Apeldoorn 2012, attracts thousands of bikers and music lovers. This strong combination of bikes and music in the heart of the city makes the Harley & European Bike Festival Apeldoorn one of the best events to go to in the Netherlands.

 

The Harley & European Bike Festival Apeldoorn 2012 is located right in the centre of the city. Three main squares; Raadhuisplein, Leienplein and Marktplein and all the connecting streets and alleys is where it all is happening. The city is for one day literarily filled with bikes and music when the Harley & European Bike Festival takes place. Main bands this year were Fiber, Gruppo Sportivo, John Hayes Double Blood, 5 Pack, Shake the Snake and Rock Addiction. No entrance fees, no concert fees, no parking fees, all is just for free at the Harley & European Bike Festival Apeldoorn 2012!

With clear blue skies and temperatures that reached 25 degrees centigrade, the weather was more than perfect. A nice custom bike show, antique bike show, stages were bands were playing and bars and restaurants everywhere make sure nobody had to be thirsty or hungry. Walking around, checking all the nice bikes and babes, meanwhile listening to great music is what everybody likes to do. The Harley & European Bike Festival is getting better every year and a big ‘Thank You’ for the organizers who come up with great bands and new ideas for the event every year! Bike clubs like Satudarah MC, Veterans MC and Black Sheep MC showed up, selling support shirts and merchandise. In the streets hundreds of vendors set their stalls up very early. No vendor wants to miss this one, as its rapidly becoming one of the best and biggest events in the Netherlands. Thousands of visitors (over 30.000!) came to the Harley & European Bike Festival 2012 in Apeldoorn.
