Harley-Davidson 110th Celebration in Milwaukee
Big – Bigger – Less….

Although Harley-Davidson’s 110th Anniversary Celebration in Milwaukee was a great party, many people were wandering around, looking for something that just wasn’t there…
A few good bands played in Miller park in the evenings, but during the day the Music was, with a few exceptions, awfull. Most bands played with no audiance at all. Tickets for the headliners were still available, with prices like that no wonder, but it also reflected the whole happening, even the tradestands, the Biker market and shows during Harley-Davidson’s 110th Anniversary Celebration in Milwaukee were not half as big in numbers.
At the Miller Stadium, where during the 105th a great event took place with action, shows and displays, only the staging of the Parade on Saturday morning was to be seen. For everything you wanted to go to during the H-D 110th Anniversary a pass and/or ticket was needed and did I already mention that most prices were dubbeled, even trippled during the 105th? No, but you guessed that yourself already, right?
Still we had a good time in Milwaukee at the H-D 110th Anniversary, nice weather, good riding and meeting many good friends made up for the most. The highlights to go to were the Harley-Davidson Museum, (nothing to do at Juneau Avenue)some Street Parties Downtown and the Parade, that attracted thousends of people, watching the 5000 lucky riders that were allowed to ride in the Parade!
Several H-D, Wisconsin based H-D Dealers threw their own parties, during Harley-Davidson’s 110th Anniversary Celebration in Milwaukee. Suburban, Hal’s, Uke’s Milwaukee H-D and House of Harley had organized great events with many vendors, displays, nice food, drinks and Music and some had cool stuntshows.
